Tracy Coleman
Tracy is a third generation farmer, raised on a large produce farm diversified with hogs and cattle. He grew up in Henderson, KY then moved south and stayed! Currently farming about 200 acres and serving as an adjunct instructor for both Western Kentucky University and Owensboro Community and Technical College, he loves both the practice of farming and sharing his knowledge with the next generation. On the farm, he is responsible for all things green and growing. He and his brother enjoy using their knowledge of plants to grow giant pumpkins. 1400 pounds is the goal this year!
Chelsea Williams
Chelsea is a transplant to the agriculture community, but a very enthusiastic new member. She grew up outside of Nashviille in Mt. Juliet, TN as the daughter of two accountants. Agriculture was a bit far removed from how she grew up, but she has found a life she truly loves. She is responsible for the livestock on the farm. In addition, she directs both the Agriculture and Horticulture Programs at Owensboro Community and Technical College. When she has the time she enjoys reading, writing about her adventures, and exploring the art of canning!
Together, we make up Crooked Creek Farms. It's not always easy, but we love it. We come from different agriculture backgrounds, but our current goals are the same: farming the old fashioned way, providing wholesome food produced by local farmers, and teaching the next generation of farmers and eaters. We love for people to get to know their farmers and understand where their food comes from. Thanks for getting to know us!
